FedEx New Dealer Accounts
In our 12/07/2007 newsletter we advised you that FedEx would be contacting you to set up an account so that HMA can identify you for the Dealer to Dealer backorder referral program that will launch this Spring. An active FedEx account is necessary so that the D2D system recognizes you and can route orders to FedEx. As we get closer to launching D2D you’ll get all the details and training from the D2D vendor, OEConnection.
Instead of calling each dealer as we expected, FedEx instead took our master dealer list and set up an account with every dealer that didn’t already have an account with them. That was a total of around 500 dealerships. They then sent starter kits with account numbers, supplies and instructions to each of these dealerships.
If you received a starter kit from FedEx, you got it because FedEx set you up with an account so that you are eligible for the D2D program. You do not have to use FedEx for your dealership’s shipping needs but you do get a discounted rate as part of Hyundai’s national agreement with FedEx. Please remember, also, that D2D shipments will be paid for by HMA and the FedEx account you were assigned is strictly for identification purposes within the D2D system.
We apologize for any confusion the FedEx starter kits may have caused you. We thought FedEx was calling each dealer first.

Part numbers 26320-3C100 and 26320-3C250 are NOT interchangeable.
- 26320-3C100 has a production date of 04/01/2005 to 05/28/2007 (3.8L).
- 26320-3C250 has a production date of 05/28/2007 to current (3.8L).
Because the ending and beginning production dates match, all applications should be verified by using the on-line catalog along with the VIN number or by visual inspection to validate the correct application.
