Dealer to Dealer (D2D), Phase II
HMA Parts is pleased to announce Phase 2 of the Dealer to Dealer Order Referral Program. This new phase will refer all new emergency orders to nearby dealers offering delivery before the orders are allocated to a PDC. This should increase CSI through making parts available the same day instead of waiting for PDC delivery the next day.
How it works...
All Emergency dealer orders placed over HyundaiDealer.com between 7AM – 11AM local time will be referred to D2D for dealers to fill. D2D dealers will have until 12PM local time to confirm an order in D2D Express, and will need to deliver the part that same day (preferably by 3pm local time) to the buying dealer. Any unfulfilled emergency orders in D2D Express by 12PM local time are referred back to the HMA PDC network to fill if the part is in stock. Will Call orders will continue to be referred to the facing PDC to fill.
Tips to remember...
- Emergency orders for eligible parts that are referred to D2D are for same day delivery. This will enable the buying dealer to perform same day repairs on a vehicle. If for any reason you cannot deliver the part the same day after you have committed to an order, please contact the buying dealer and let them know the part will be late.
- Check your dealer delivery radius in D2D Express to verify it is set to the furthest distance you are willing to drive to deliver parts to neighboring dealers. If you do not offer dealer delivery service, set the Dealer Deliver Radius = 0 and the system will not route order referrals for dealer delivery to your dealership. You will only receive D2D offers for buying dealers that are within your delivery radius.
- All orders (New Emergency orders, National Backorders - R & E) that are referred to D2D are on a line-item basis. For example if a dealer places 10 lines on an E order, that order is referred to D2D as 10 separate orders. Buying dealers can see which dealer/PDC filled each line on their parts invoice. In Phase 3 of the D2D program HMA will create a new screen on HyundaiDealer.com to enable dealers to see current status on whether the order line has been committed or confirmed by a D2D Dealer.
- Selling dealers will continue to receive their credit memo and applicable incentive for parts filled through D2D the day after confirming an order.
