Parts Call Center Improvements
New "on-hold" Music
You spoke, we listened. That's right, NEW on-hold music when calling our Dealer Support Group at
1-800-545-4515.
Hold Times
Between July and December of 2008, average hold times were almost 6 minutes. Since then, the Call Center has been placed under new management and several steps have been taken to lesson the hold times and improve our level of customer service to you as a dealer. Today the average hold time is 29 seconds!
Secret Tip
To instantly bypass the voice introduction when calling the 800 number, press #2 on your telephone key pad to be routed directly to our Parts Help Line. Press #1 to reach our Tech-line, Consumer Affairs, Warranty, or DCS Help Desk.
Web DCS Screen Changes
All DCS online screens have now been migrated to Web DCS. Dealers should start using Web DCS immediately for all of their parts business, since the existing DCS Online Screens will be deactivated shortly.
Screens Converted to Web DCS
The following DCS Online screens were added to Web DCS on Monday 03/09/2009.
- Dealer Locator
- SPL Order Entry New Screen
- Check Out Shopping Cart New Screen
- Request For Credit/Parts Return
- Open Credit Memo Inquiry
- Claim History Inquiry
Functionality of New Screens
These newly converted DCS Online screens contain the same look and functionality of the equivalent existing screens on DCS Online - i.e. Orders submitted through the New SPL Order Entry screen on WebDCS are processed immediately as it is now with the DCS Online Regular/Stock Order Entry screen.
There are also some new functionalities added to some screens such as accessing the Dealer Locator through the Emergency Order Entry Results, Back Order Maintenance, and Parts Availability screens. In addition, the Shopping Cart has also been integrated into WebDCS.

Web DCS Training
Two additional Web DCS Training sessions (webinar based) have been added:
- Monday 3/16/09: 11:00am Pacific; Noon Mountain; 1:00pm Central; 2:00pm Eastern (rescheduled from Thursday, 3/12)
- Wednesday, 3/18/09: 2:00pm Pacific; 3:00pm Mountain; 4:00pm Central; 5:00pm Eastern (new date)

Individuals previously enrolled in the Thursday, 3/12 session, will be automatically enrolled in the Monday, 3/16 session.
