Genesis Owners – Are We Taking Care Of Them?

When my car was returned there were greasy hand prints on my interior. It was the complimentary car wash. It is an absolute joke. My car looked better before they washed it. I had an Infiniti G35, and every time I took it to the dealer for service, when I got it back, it looked great (complementary car wash). Everyone deserves a second chance, but with the competitiveness of other dealerships you may not always get that second chance. — Customer Verbatim Comment

Manual Allocation Backorders

Why does a part show to be stocked at the PDC but doesn't ship?

In the event inventory levels are rapidly depleted before they can be sufficiently replenished, a manual allocation flag is placed on the part number. This means only critical orders will be filled. This ensures HMA has enough inventory to meet the needs of your customers. Once inventory has been replenished to a sufficient level with all back-orders filled, the manual allocation flag is removed, and the part will be available for dealer stocking purposes.

Ordering parts that are on Manual Allocation

Contact our Dealer Support Center at 1-800-545-4515 if you have a critical customer order on manual allocation to confirm if it can be released.

A critical order would be defined as any customer in need of the part, especially in a car down situation. The order should be submitted (or upgraded) as an Emergency order before requesting the release of a part on manual allocation. Sheet Metal, Hazmat, Sub-frames, Bulky Parts, or any other part that is NOT eligible for an "E" order type should be submitted as an SPL "R" order type.

Verify if part is on Manual Allocation on WebDCS!

When checking to see if a part is available on Web DCS, also check to see if a manual allocation flag is set to "Y". This means the part is available at the PDC but can only be obtained through manual allocation.
