Walk-Around / Multi-Point Inspection

Does it take place for all model years at your dealership?

If not, then it should. Did you know that more of the newer model customers say that the WA/MPI is not performed for their car?

You might think to yourself, “Of course not, the vehicles are new. Why would we look for problems on new vehicles?” Well, you aren’t actually looking for problems as much as you’re looking to establish a relationship with these somewhat new customers. Customers appreciate the process and appreciate knowing that someone is looking out for them. It doesn’t have to be a “this is what’s wrong with you car” approach. It should focus on “here’s how we take care of you every time you come in to our dealership and here’s what you can expect from us each and every time”. When it comes down to it, this is a process that should happen with every model year.

So how do you ensure that every model year is going through the Walk-Around / Multi-Point Inspection process?
