Kiplinger Recognizes Tucson As Best New Small Crossover

Hyundai’s sleek, new 2010 Tucson crossover was named a “Best New Crossover” in the “Small Crossovers” category by Kiplinger’s Personal Finance. The magazine named the top new models in eleven categories, and the Tucson topped competitors such as the Volvo XC60 and Mitsubishi Outlander.

Hyundai Accent Tops Segment in J.D. Power & Associates I.Q.S
J.D. Power and Associates announced yesterday that the Hyundai Accent topped the sub-compact segment in its 2010 Initial Quality Study (IQS). Owners of the economical and fun-to-drive 2010 Accent reported the fewest problems per 100 vehicles in its segment. Elantra also finished in the top three in the compact car segment.
Overall, Hyundai finished third among non-premium brands in the 2010 Initial Quality Study, holding a top-three position for the second consecutive year, well below the industry average for reported problems per 100 vehicles.

ADP Drive Certification
Attention Parts Managers
We are pleased to announce that ADP Drive has been certified for use by Hyundai SmartStock dealers. STK or IRE can be used to generate system recommended stock orders compliant with SmartStock system settings.
To ensure a smooth transition, ADP will notify Hyundai of existing SmartStock dealers changing to ADP Drive from other DMS compliant systems. ADP will also assist dealers with their system settings if needed.
Non-SmartStock dealers switching to ADP Drive that are interested in enrolling in the SmartStock program should contact their Parts Business Development Manager (PBDM) or District Parts and Service Manager (DPSM).
New FedEx Claim Process for Dealers Facing Ontario, CA PDC
The following announcement only applies for dealers serviced by the Ontario PDC
Air and Ground Small Package
A dealer carrier claim process and reimbursement program for damaged/missing packages from FedEx small parcel air and ground shipments from PDCs to Hyundai dealers. Please note this new claim process does not include shipments via FedEx Freight LTL truck services division.
This will greatly simplify the current reimbursement process for the dealer. Instead of filing a claim and following up with the carrier, HMA will reimburse you directly and we will follow-up with the carrier. You simply notify the carrier that they have a related loss/damage and you will receive a claim reference number, and then submit a R3 credit request through DCS.

Freight LTL
We are pleased to announce the implementation of a new carrier claim process for all dealers serviced from the Ontario MPA PDC via FedEx Freight LTL (truck) service.
Your dealership has been selected to participate in a pilot program which will improve turnaround of claim reimbursement and allow the carrier and MPA to better manage carrier claim activity. The pilot program will allow MPA to identify any necessary system enhancements to manage the program nationally.
