Great News About Certification and Awards!
Earning Hyundai training certification just got easier. Effective, 9/23/10, we’re making it easier, faster and more rewarding to earn Bronze certification and move forward to Silver and Gold.
Here’s a summary of the changes:
- For Service Consultants, attend our two-day program “The Customer and You” and complete the Service Orientation web-based course, and you’ve earned Bronze.
- For Service Managers, attend our two-day program “Managing the Shop” and complete the Service Orientation web¬-based course, and you’ve earned Bronze.
- Hyundai Star Award non-technical training points for achieving Bronze will change from 4,000 to 3,000.
- You’ll earn 100 points for completing any new model web-based course or selected other courses. There will be additional courses offered by year-end.
- Attending a webinar is worth 100 points. Previously, no points were awarded for webinars.
- Listening to a podcast earns you 25 points.
- There will be three additional web-based courses added to Silver Certification, see TACS for the courses
- There will be one additional web-based course added to Gold Certification, see TACS for the course

Wiper Blade Sales Opportunities
Fall is right around the corner and now is a great time to promote the sale of wiper blades to your customers as part of the Walk-Around Process. Click here for a one page best practice on selling wiper blades.
To support your efforts, all dealers on the Parts and Service Co-op Program will receive a new portable Wiper Blade Display and an assortment of fast moving wiper blades. Display started shipping out 9/14/2010.
