October is Fall Car Care Month

As we leave the summer months behind, October is your opportunity to remind your customers about the importance and benefits of regular maintenance as well as the importance of having their vehicle ready for winter.

Did you know that according to the Car Care Council that vehicle inspections in 2008 revealed that 80 percent of vehicles need service or parts?

Walk-Around Process (Multi-Point Inspection)

Performing the Walk-Around (Multi-Point Inspection) on every vehicle that comes in for service is one way you can help your customers make sure their Hyundai is reliable and ready for winter.

Don’t forget to check their batteries with your new Hyundai GR-8 Battery Tester. Click here to review the best practices sent out last month.

Also click here to see the article from last week for more information about the new wiper blade display coming your way.

When reviewing the results of the Multi-Point Inspection with each customer it is also a good time to remind them of two important items:

  1. Regular maintenance can help them avoid costly repairs down the road, saving them time, money and inconvenience.
  2. They should always follow the factory recommend maintenance schedule in the owner’s manual, either time or mileage whichever is less.
