PDI During IQS Season
It is always very important to pay attention to the details when doing a PDI on new vehicles, especially during the IQS season ! With every new model there may be new details that need special attention during PDI.
Did you know: The new 2011 Elantra has a new feature, an Ignition Off Draw (IOD) switch on the instrument panel junction box to control battery draw during storage and transport. When performing vehicle Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI) on the 2011MY ELANTRA, ensure that the IGNITION OFF DRAW (IOD) switch located in the INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BOX is in the ON position. If the switch is in the OFF position, use a flathead screwdriver to slide the switch to the ON position. This will ensure that all features in the vehicle will operate as designed.

Hyundai significantly improved its position in the rankings of the 2010 J.D. Power and Associates U.S. Sales Satisfaction Index StudySM (SSI), ranking No. 7 overall. Hyundai also had the greatest improvement of all mass market brands from 2009, moving from No. 16 to seven in 2010.
