Track your Service Consultant’s ability to capture customer postal addresses accurately using the Address Quality by Service Consultant trend report.

Now when reviewing the Address Quality by Service Consultant benchmark report you can click on the service consultant’s bar chart to see how accurately they have been capturing data over time. This will assist you in increasing the accuracy of the data in order to provide you with enhanced deliverable customer postal address quality to support your future marketing efforts.

Parts Training: Equus Webinars

To support the launch of the all new 2011 Equus Premium Luxury Sedan, there will be 8 webinars scheduled for the week of 12/13. These 25 minute webinars will cover the vehicle features and unique Equus customer support. The webinars are provided at no cost and all Equus and Hyundai dealer parts personnel are urged to attend.

A new course has been posted on TACS for the all-new Equus PDI process (click here to access TACS). If you are an authorized Hyundai Equus dealer, please have all Service Advisors and Technicians review this important course as soon as possible. Parts Holiday Closure

In observance of the Christmas and New Year holidays, all MOBIS Parts America Distribution Centers will be closed on Friday, December 24th and December 31st , except for our Aurora, IL facility which will be processing limited Emergency orders ONLY.

The Emergency Order cut-off time for both December 24th and December 31st will be 12:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time.

The Dealer Call Center will also be open from 5:30 A.M. PST to 12:30 P.M. PST.

All other PDC’s will be closed.

Please note that there will be no will calls or SPL regular service. All emergency orders placed after 12:00 PST will be shipped on Monday, December 27th and/or Monday January 3rd, 2011.

All dealers serviced by the Aurora, IL. PDC and Jamesburg, NJ. PDC should enter their emergency orders as usual. All dealers serviced by the Lawrenceville, GA. and Ontario, Ca. PDC’s should call their emergency orders into the Dealer Call Center at 800-545-4515 or fax to 714-965-3845. Please include your dealer code when faxing orders.

All orders for the Christmas & New Year Holiday week will be processed as follows:

GDS Internet Update Version 1.10.03

In order to update to version 1.10.03 your GDS unit requires the latest DVD, version 1.10.00, to be installed.

The GDS unit will search for internet updates automatically whenever the GDS program is started or the “Internet Update” button is pressed.

  • The GDS internet update will contain the following:
    • Update Auto VIN Detection
    • Update 2011 Elantra (UD) TPMS software
    • VCI Firmware updated. If possible, your VCI unit should be available during the internet update
