BlueLink Podcast Now Available on TACS
Blue Link is coming! Blue Link is Hyundai's new telematics system, which connects customers, cars and dealers electronically through an advanced cellular network with automatic roaming. It will first appear on the Sonata beginning in June. It's critical that all Service Managers and Service Consultants be familiar with it and prepared to help customers.
A great way to find out more is to listen to our newest podcast -- Introduction to Blue Link. You'll find the link on your TACS dashboard.
More training is coming, including a web-based course just for you along with a "live" half-day program starting in May in major cities nationwide. That one is aimed at both Service Consultants and Technicians.
GDS Internet Update - Version 1.10.09
An internet update for your GDS unit is now available.
In order to update to version 1.10.09 your GDS unit requires the latest DVD, version 1.10.00, to be installed.
The GDS unit will search for internet updates automatically when ever the GDS program is started or the “Internet Update” button is pressed.
The GDS internet update will contain the following:
- 225 UD 1.8L P0106, P0605 DTC Logic.
- Update to ECU event 222 YFA 2.0 T-GDI P2237 DTC Logic.
- VCI Firmware updated. If possible, your VCI unit should be available during the internet update.
