Learners Wanted for Webinar on 8/19
We have two webinars scheduled for Thursday, August 19, that need participants. They are:
- Write It Right the First Time – 2 p.m. EDT (11 a.m. PDT), featuring Bruce Thiel. (Listed under Western Region.)
- Shop Logistics – 12:30 p.m. EDT (9:30 a.m. PDT), featuring Jim Blok. (Listed under South Central Region.)
Webinars are a great learning tool. You can participate from any location with a telephone and PC with internet access. Participants from ALL regions are welcome to attend these programs. To attend, simply enroll via TACS. Once enrollment is complete, you’ll receive an e-mail with instructions on how to log-on to the webinar.
Recent Updates To HSI Survey Questions
Changes were recently implemented to make the HSI survey more informative and easier to understand. These changes include the revision and deletion of some questions, as well as the addition of a few new ones.
Please note, however, that most HSI survey questions remain the same. All service attribute questions and weights that are used to calculate the HSI score are unchanged, as well. Finally, all completed surveys from the old version of the HSI survey remain available on PowerKatalyst.
The updated HSI survey was implemented in early July. Results from this updated survey are now available on the PowerKatalyst website, effective the August reporting period.

GDS Internet Update - Version 1.11.11
An internet update for your GDS unit is now available.
In order to update to version 1.11.11 your GDS unit requires the latest DVD, version 1.11.00, to be installed.
The GDS unit will search for internet updates automatically when ever the GDS program is started or the “Internet Update” button is pressed.
The GDS internet update will contain the following:
- Update event 231 YFA TCM P0748 DTC Logic Improvement
- Update YF EPS SYSTEM (EPS Type Recognition)
