Get Your Customers Ready For Winter!

Colder temperatures are right around the corner and that means freezing temperatures.

So, how can you increase customer satisfaction and help your customers?

  • Check their Wiper Blades
  • Check their Windshield Washer Fluid and make sure it is mixed correctly

Hyundai offers a complete line of Windshield Wipers for Hyundai vehicles and offers Hyundai Genuine Windshield Washer Concentrate.

Best Practices:

  • During the MPI walk-around process, check the condition of the wiper blades--looking for cracks, tears, bent rubber and excessive play in the blade assembly.
  • Make sure your service technicians fill the windshield washer fluid reservoir during any service with the correct mixture of water and windshield washer concentrate.
  • Make sure you inform your customer that you performed these added value services to help them get ready for winter.

Did you know?

  • Methanol is not great at cleaning windows, but it does keep water from freezing.
  • Most windshield washer fluid contains methanol and windshield concentrate contains almost 100% methanol.
  • The mix ratio is important to provide adequate freezing protection to the lowest temperatures in the area that the vehicle could be subjected to. The colder it is, the more concentrate needed.
  • Adding a windshield washer tablet, Hyundai part number 00232-19019, will greatly enhance the cleaning ability of the windshield washer fluid.
