Battery Core Charge Change Announcement
Effective December 1, 2011, Hyundai will remove the $12.00 battery core charge from current pricing to help dealers be more competitive in battery sales.
Core change summary:
- Dealer NET price will be reduced by $12.00.
- Dealers will no longer receive a core credit for batteries evacuated/returned.
- Dealers will be billed $12.00 for each core that is not returned.
- Dealers will continue to be responsible for returning a core on a one-for-one basis for each battery ordered.
Your Interstate Battery Route Manager will provide you with a receipt for the quantity of batteries delivered and the quantity of cores picked up.
Hyundai will reconcile core balances for each dealer based on the deliver/core pick-up receipts and any outstanding balances (credits or debits) will appear on the dealer’s Parts Statement the following month.
Note: Batteries ordered prior to 12/1/2011 will be invoiced with core regardless of delivery and processing date.

The revised HMA Radio Return form is now available for download in the Documents/Resources section of HyundaiDealer.com, under Service. It can also be downloaded in the Reference Material page of this site.

GDS Internet Update - Version 1.12.03
An internet update for your GDS unit is now available.
In order to update to version 1.12.03, your GDS unit requires the latest DVD, version 1.12.00, to be installed.
The GDS unit will search for internet updates automatically whenever the GDS program is started or the “Internet Update” button is pressed.
The GDS internet update will contain the following:
- 256.BH 4.6 MPI TCM Update
- Update to 2011 MY UD WCS (WCS Reset)
