Blue Link Mobile Tips Brochure
Blue Link is now available on Sonata and Veloster, with more models to come next year. Customers with Blue Link-equipped vehicles are beginning to show up on the service drive with questions about this technology.
To help in answering common questions about Blue Link, we have developed the “Blue Link Mobile Shortcuts and Tips” brochure. This brochure covers common topics and allows customers with compatible mobile devices (smartphones and tablets) to scan a QR code and download or be taken to a website displaying the information needed. Subjects covered include:
- Blue Link Pricing and Free Trial
- Voice Text Messaging
- FAQ’s
- And more…
Customers will also be able to download a replacement Blue Link User’s Manual and Voice Commands Card (in PDF format) just by scanning a QR code.
Each dealership is being provided a pack of 50 brochures, with more available for order from your local PDC at no charge, while supplies last. Mailing to dealers will begin Monday, November 28th. Full details on compatible devices and best practices will be included in the mailing.
Assurance Trade-in Guarantee QRG
The Hyundai Assurance Trade-In Value Guarantee is a great benefit to new vehicle owners by providing them with an assessment of their vehicle’s future value for months 24 through 48 of ownership, based on an independent source. In essence, this program future-proofs the value of their new Hyundai.
It is critical that every Service Advisor be informed and able to explain this benefit to customers who may have questions on the service drive. To supplement existing program information, we have developed a simple, black and white Quick Reference Guide on the Hyundai Assurance Trade-In Value Guarantee program. It is designed to be a one-page, front and back document to answer questions such as:
- What is the benefit?
- How is the final value assessed at trade-in?
- What are the requirements?
- And much more…
In addition, stay tuned for the new webcourse: “Hyundai Assurance: Trade-In Value Guarantee”, coming soon on TACS.
Click the image to download a copy in PDF format and print as many as needed for your advisors. PLEASE NOTE: This is a job-aid for your use as a reference tool, not a document designed for distribution to customers. Owners of eligible vehicles should have been provided a detailed Terms & Conditions along with their guarantee assessment at time of new vehicle purchase.

Update on Gold Certification for Service Managers
In October Hyundai replaced our Service Marketing and Merchandising classroom program with a new course entitled How to Get and Keep Customers. The prior course was a requirement for Gold-level certification. How to Get and Keep Customers is now a Gold requirement. Here's a clarification on how this works:
- If you've taken Service Marketing and Merchandising, you do NOT have to take How to Get and Keep Customers in order to keep or earn Gold (although it's highly recommended, because it has some all-new content).
- If you have not taken Service Marketing and Merchandising, you DO have to take How to Get and Keep Customers in order to earn Gold.
All other Gold certification requirements remain the same.
